This is Old is State Shirt's second full-length album, released on November 11, 2008, on his own Los Fucking Angeles label.

Fiery indietronic anthems for the wandering and hopeful. Stories of nostalgia, despair and hope. From Southern California’s droning and faceless San Fernando Valley to the snowy back roads of Western Massachusetts. Steeped in a cycle of inescapable, mind-numbing full-time jobs. Captivity in a never-ending cycle: work, drink, sleep, repeat. But, through it all, a glimmer of hope shines. Voltage runs through dusty pedals, neglected instruments, hand-built loops, and old electronics. From a modest bedroom studio, sparkles of surreal, melancholic, and hopeful melodies bubble up.
